The annual Port Indian River Day is hosted by the Port Indian Civic and Boating Association (PICBA) and is a day long celebration of the Port Indian community, by and for its residents. Generally held in late July, the event is kicked off with a bagpiper slowly boating down river, and the day’s highlights include lunch at the Norristown Boat Club, and a barbecue dinner on the grounds of the Norristown Commercial Club.
Each year the Port Indian Ski Club presents a Waterski Show featuring barefoot waterskiers, pyramids, clown acts, high flying wakeboarders, and acrobatic doubles and triples ski acts!
