OK, Here we go folks. Looks like we caught a break in the weather – forecast is calling for mid to upper 40s, sunshine and light winds. A perfect day for waterskiing!
Sat Dec 31 from noon – 2PM for tents, tables etc
Sun Jan 1 from 9AM to 11AM for food prep, boats and raffle setup
As of this moment, we have 12 skiers signed up! Sure you can sign up on Sunday to ski, but why wait? Last year 21 skiers took us beyond the scheduled end of the event, and we pretty much had to pull the plug. So if you wanna ski, just shoot me an email or text and you will be sure to have a slot. Remember that we are requesting a donation from skiers again this year and there will be a prize for the sponsored skier that posts the largest donation amount.
Thanks to all who have already signed up to help on the Sign Up genius sign Up list. There are still a few things we need.
Volunteers desperately needed!
To help in the food tent
To help on the dock
To help at the raffle table
If you would like to bring baked goods or other food to sell, or are willing to help in the food tent, please call or text Colleen Fisher.
If you have raffle or auction items for donation, please contact Sherene Birsa.
We could use another Propane Heater or two
Need coffee condiments – sugar, creamers, splenda, stirrers, etc
We need Directional Signs made and placed at key intersections on Egypt Rd, Port Indian Rd and Schuylkill Ave, and at the driveway/parking area.
You can get to our Sign Up Sheet here, or just email or text me if you’d like to help.
Forms for requesting corporate donations are here. It’s never too late to ask for donations!. Last year nearly $1500 in donations to Camp Rainbow continued to roll in on behalf of Ski Freeze, days and weeks after the event.
Skier Sponsor and waiver forms are here. These will also be available at the Skier Check-In booth on Sunday.
That will about do it. Please give me a call or text me if you have any questions! Happy and safe New Year to all, and I hope to see you at Ski Freeze on the 1st!
